The purpose of the Christian Book Awards (CBA) is to recognize authors of all ages who publish Christian, family-friendly books and graphic novels for Christians to read and enjoy.  America needs to start encouraging and rewarding those who produce wholesome entertainment, and we want to recognize your contributions to this effort!  The world needs your story!

Have your hard work recognized and become an award-winning author by entering the one and only Christian Book Awards. A Christian Book Award medallion on your book cover makes your book stand out. So don't let your book sit on the figurative shelf!  Become a conduit for divine inspiration and hope by sharing your book!   

This is a very straightforward book award contest judged by award-winning Christian  authors.  We do not judge books against other authors; instead, award medallions are based on these criteria:   1.  Inspiring, family-friendly, Christ-honoring work (this is the most important criterion), 2.  Compelling book cover and artwork (if applicable, say, for children's books or graphic novels), and 3. Proofread and edited with no typos or grammatical errors. The levels are GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE or NO AWARD as determined by our judges. Please note that all decisions are final, and no refunds will be provided under any circumstances.  

There are 5 categories: 1) Graphic Novel/Comic/Picture Book; 2) Elementary School; 3) Middle School;  4) Teen Fiction and Non-Fiction; and, 5) Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction. You may enter multiple categories, and some books win multiple awards! 

To enter the CBA, please provide your $25 payment at the contest link below and then email your book in PDF format to the email address.  Entries must be in English.  Mailing a physical copy is only possible if your book is bound in a standard format.  After payment, send an email to obtain the contest address.  CBA is not responsible for books lost in the mail etc.

Entries will be confirmed by return email along with the date of your contest when we receive your entry and payment.

Christian Book Awards are issued quarterly on January 1st,  April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st of each year. Determination of your award level (Gold, Silver, Bronze) will be provided to you in an email on the day of the determination or shortly thereafter.  Entries not received in time for consideration in one quarterly contest due to time constraints will be entered in the subsequent contest.

With our move to South Florida,  

CBA will also begin hosting quarterly awards ceremonies for those interested in traveling to South Florida, receiving their medal in person, and participating along with Christian Film Festival award recipients. More information on this to follow...
